His extensive background—which includes clinical research, medical education, pharmaceutical sales and sales training, pharmacoeconomics, managed care marketing, business development as well as marketing and sales alignment consulting—gives Rick a unique expertise in understanding and insight into winning strategies for commercial brands.
Rick is a respected and innovative leader in sales strategy, sales improvement and organizational impact, working with executives and company leaders at various companies to refocus their commercial strategies and achieve results. “Ultimately its about regaining your primary value proposition then driving that to benefit the maximum number of customers. Rick spent 6 years in oncology research at Scripps Clinic and Research Institute in San Diego and the Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center in Seattle and 9 years at Glaxo Wellcome in various roles including sales. He has extensive sales training and marketing experience in a wide range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, CNS, infectious diseases, and neuroscience. Rick’s degree is in Molecular Biology from the University of Washington.
Rick is a dedicated family man, who enjoys running, traveling with his family and spending time on the lake.
